ACLS Course Registration Criteria

The following is the criteria for registration of courses in ACLS

1. Course Medical Director, Coordinator, and Instructor(s), must be current and active ACLS Instructors registered with the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Manitoba.

2. The following items:
      a. BLS Primary and ACLS Secondary survey 
      b. Management of Respiratory Arrest 
      c. Pulseless Arrest, VT/VF
      d. ACS 
      e. Bradycardia/Asystole/PEA 
      f. Tachycardia, stable & unstable 
      g. Stroke 
      h. Megacode & Resuscitation Team Concept

3. Maximum Instructor to Provider Ratio is 1 Instructor : 8 Participants

4. Course outline should be submitted for registration a minimum of 6 weeks prior to the ACLS course.
